Board Break-a-Thon

Last month we held a fund raising event for the H.U. Lee foundation at our karate school. It was a HUGE success! We raised over $2,000 that will go towards scholarships for highschool seniors. We wouldn't have been able to pull this off without the help of our amazing parents at the school. I was 18months pregnant (haha) and had absolutely no energy, was miserable, huge, uncomfortable, and pretty much helped in this 0%. Tara organized this huge thing, with the help of our other parents at the school. I was really impressed with what Bobby did as well. Bobby isn't a 'details' person. But I have to say he did a really good job in helping put this together. We had tonz of raffle prizes, games, a bounce house, lots of food and snacks. Oh yea, and more boards than I could count that were donated by Lowes. We broke boards twice per hour for 4 hours. It was a long day, but it was so worth it. I'm so proud of our school!

All the amazing raffle baskets that were donated

We had face painting too!

Ryan was trying to decide if he wanted to help break boards

Now that's a lot of boards!

He didn't brush his teeth that morning. ;-)

Our wonderful program director, Tara! She made this day possible.

The kids loved the bounce house
