Ryan's Birthday

So we threw Ryan a birthday party a few weeks ago! He is now 4! Can you believe it? I can't believe how much he's grown in the past 2 years I've been blessed enough to be in his life. I can't believe I've been around for 1/2 his life now!!! lol. But really, I couldn't have asked to be part of a better family, or have a more amazing step son. He wow's me every day. If not by something he says, by something he does. He's the most athletic and daring 4 yr old I've ever seen. He has so much of his dad's 'I can do anything better than you' attitude.

Anyway, we had a party for him on his birthday the 6th, at the Sunset station bowling ally! He had a blast, and I really enjoyed planning it and getting everything together. I made some really awesome (ok, maybe they weren't that cool, but humor me) bowling pin cupcakes, Lisa helped me make my first real home made cake (which turned out SOO yummy, best cake ever if I do say so myself ;-) ), and Bobby even got beat at bowling!

We had some of Ryan's buddies attend (with their parents of course) and family. That was it. Last year we had a big barbeque with EVERYONE, but this year it was a little more low key with not tonz of people. Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves! Ryan got a lot of fun gifts that he loves. He's totally into hot wheels and racing stuff right now. He loves his nerf guns. (really he loves shooting Emmett and telling people to put their hands up lol).

Love this little boy more than words can express

What he REALLY loves, is the biiiiiig trampoline in our back yard that Grandma and Grandpa and us got him for his birthday. Bobby finally put it up last night (we've been trying to get the rocks out of the back yard. Grass next!!) and Ryan came home today and just stood there with his mouth open for like a full minute before I asked him if he was going to go play. He says 'yeah!!!!' and runs out to play.

Karli Irene Davis

Jen had her baby!! She arrived via C-Section at 11:45 (yess she made it March 2nd! woohoo we share a birthday!). She was 8.5 lbs! Wowza! We had taken bets about a month ago on her weight, I guessed 5lbs 6oz or something like that. 8LBS!!!??? I couldn't believe it. No wonder they had to C-section her! There's no way she would have fit out of tiny Jen! But she is here, she is healthy, and she's oh so precious. I can't wait to go to the hospital and hold that beautiful little baby.
