4th of July 2012

Most of my 4th of July's have been spent with the Martin family. This year was no exception. First we headed to my in-laws to spend some time with the family. Aunt Georgia was in town and we wanted to hang out a bit.

We had a great day hanging out in the pool, watching our kids jump in off the sides and being 'big girls' and floating in the rings on their own. They had an absolute blast. Ethan was mr. Dare Devil and was jumping in from the side of the pool. He and Lilly both LOVED it. We ate some good food, colored with crayons, played with a bunch of toys... and of course, did fireworks at the end of the night!!

This was Lilly's first 4th of July where she got to do fireworks! She was a tad skeptical of the sparklers at first, but she ended up loving them! She was so brave, I was counting on her not even wanting to be outside. Not only did she stay but she LOVED the big fireworks. She would say 'oh look PRETTIES!!!' She called the fireworks pretties. It was THE most adorable thing ever. Her and Karli had so much fun together.
