Moving

So I've had my fill of moving for the next 80 years. This year seems like it's just been non stop. In a year I've moved almost 10 times. In November Nikki moved out with will. In March my Grammie passed away so we had to move everything from her house to our apartment. Then my family came in town and we divided all the things up and so we had to pack everything back up and move it all for my Aunt and Uncle. Then 3 weeks ago my mommy moved into her new apartment and we helped moved her in there.

Now gets to the fun stuff. 2 weeks ago, me, Bobby, Tony, and Casey had to move everything out of my storage and into my apartment and garage. The lease was up yesterday, so all weekend Bobby and I moved everything out of the apartment and put it in storage. But not everything fit, so everything else had to go in his mom's house, in Erika's old room. I have so much STUFF!!! it's ridiculous!!! I even gave away my desk and big TV table stand thing to good will!!! I mean, I know I had an apartment before, but still it's just so much! So it took us all day Friday to move all the furniture and boxes. Saturday was spent cleaning everything and trying to keep packing all the miscellaneous stuff. Bathroom stuff, kitchen stuff, just stuff! For the little that I had at my house to do, Ryan sure did have fun. He helped me clean which was too cute. I asked him to stay out of the bathroom b/c I was spraying bleech and didn't want him breathing it or touching anything so once that was done he asked if he could help. I said of course and he wanted my gloves I had on. (the ugly yellow rubber ones) So I put them on his little hands and they went up past his elbows it was hilarious. Then he took my squeegee and put it in water and then did the mirror b/c he saw I was doing it. After making it a mess again (haha) I finished the counters and everything and then it was time to mop. I didn't want him slipping and falling so I asked him to stand in the hall and watch. After 5 seconds of me doing it he was in the bathroom grabbing the mop saying 'let me dooooo it'. So I caved and let him mop a bit. After a minute or so I said it was my turn, and then he got distracted and played with Bella. But he kept asking to clean! it was too funny.

That evening we went to dinner at Outback with Carol, Jonny, Bobby's Grandma, and it was soooooo yummy. Ryan passed out in the car and slept till the food came. After that it was off to the house to unload more 'stuff'. the stuff being my clothes and pillows for the couch. I got a brilliant idea when we got there to play a joke on Lisa. She's been so gracious in offering me a place to stay until we get the paperwork for the house finalized, I had to show my appreciation by trying to give her a heart attack. I had probably close to 15 bags of clothes in our cars. (what can I say I like to shop!) so I thought it would be funny to load up one of the cars with all the bags, go to Lisa's and ask her to help bring in 'some of the stuff I was gonna need for the week' We totally picked the wrong time to try to play a joke on her b/c she had a headache and I could tell wasn't in the best of moods. She totally was wayyyy too calm about it though! She saw the bags and says 'ok yea bring them in'. I was totally waiting for a 'whaaaattt???? You need all that for a week!?' but alas, it didn't quite go that way. I'll just have to find something else to get that reaction another time. haha.

Sunday, we spent getting the last of my 'stuff' out of the house. I had a lot of random stuff left over, and then of course the stuff I really would need for the next week. Work clothes, regular clothes, karate stuff, bathroom stuff, undies, shoes, Bella's food and toys, my Magic Bullet blender stuff, my bed sheets and comforter, Bella's bed(s)... and then the stuff that my mom left at the house so I could clean I had to take back to her. We literally spent all day doing that. We didn't get done with everything until around 4PM Sunday afternoon. Needless to say we are both POOPED!!! I'm so thankful Bobby helped so much, he really did so much. Countless trips to the trash, dealt with my indecisiveness on things, took down ceiling fans, dealt with Bella... he was awesome. I'm so lucky to have him. And the whole time he was just concerned with how I was doing, how I was feeling, was my back hurting. He really is just such a blessing in my life.

Now comes to the part where I totally invade the Welch's house. haha. Bobby and I brought over my things and Bella for the most part was okay. She made this little fort under a stool. lol. I feel so bad for my poor doggie. She is such a good little girl and I'm so afraid I'm traumatizing her from this experience. I just wish I could talk to her and have her understand I'm not abandoning her, and that this is just temporary. She keeps looking at me like 'dude wtf? what's going on?' poor thing. So hopefully I can make myself not too much of a pest for the next week, and hopefully everything with the house gets settled so that Thomas can get his room back and everything back to normal. I feel bad kicking him out of his own room =[ I think Bella feels better though that she has her own little space though. She was much more comfortable once I put our things in his room and she could see I wasn't going to just leave her there. Poor Droopy, he just wants to play with her, he's just so big and heavy! haha. His paws are massive and he like hits her but in a playful manner, and I think that's whats upsetting to her. She's used to having the upper hand, but with Droopy he's got so much mass behind him she doesnt have a chance. She plays a bit but I think she ends up getting annoyed and is over the playing. I guess it's good for her to be around other dogs, she needs to be social.

Man, what a weekend...

Sunday & Monday of Memorial Day Weekend

Sunday we rushed over to Henderson early in the morning. We had boxes in our cars to put in storage but we stopped at Carols house to spend a bit more time with Ryan before he left us for the next couple of days. I made him a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich and got some cute pictures of him.

Lisa came and picked him up for church and then off we were to storage for the next couple of hours, re-organizing things because we have to put all of my stuff in it this weekend. The house paperwork is taking longer than what was originally projected, and my lease is up on the 31st. I have to have everything out of the apartment and turn in my keys. Well, we can't move in the house yet because we are still dealing with the underwriters and it's a painful process. So all my stuff is going in Bobby's storage for a few days. The paperwork should be done next week and we should get our keys hopefully by the end of the week. Meanwhile, I'm going to be homeless for a few days. Bella isn't allowed to stay at Bobby's mom's house because their cockerspaniel Java goes insane everytime she is there. He just wants to hump her the whole time, and since we don't let him he sists there stares at her and just shakes. He looks like he's about to have a seizure... then he proceeds to poop and pee ALL over the house for the next few days after she is gone. So she can't stay there while we wait for the paperwork to be done for the house. So I have to find a place for us to sleep for like 4 days. I don't want to impose on anyone and I know Bella can be a pill. I love her, but dogs aren't always convenient. I'll probably have to get one of those weekly hotels or something :-( don't want to but that's what it's looking like. I'm just praying about it and I know it will work out.

We went back home to get ready for Bobby's aunt's funeral. It was really sad. His Aunt Phyl died last week and the services were Sunday. Bobby rarely cries. I think I've seen him cry 3 times since I've known him. Sunday was one of them. He composed himself quickly after a few tears fell but I know how strong he is, and he must have been so emotional to let those few tears fall to begin with. My heart ached for their family. They are all such good people, I love them all so much. After the services we went to Anthony's house, they were having a BBQ for his birthday. We stayed a bit then left for home. Bella had been alone all day and she's a bit of a spaz right now. She doesn't understand the whole moving thing and has been really nervous the past couple weeks. We stopped at target to get some doggie treats and food for Bella. Bobby got her a huge 'meaty bone' and she loves it. Won't leave it alone. While we were there we got the second season of House. We love that show. We're collecting all the seasons and watching them. I hadn't watched the show till last season and I'm hooked. So now we're going back and watching all of them together. It's pretty fun =]
Monday was a FULL day! We wanted to go to RC Willey to get a washer and dryer because of the sales. I was talking about our bed and Egyption Cotton sheets and how I wanted them but they were going to be way too expensive when Bobby yells at me 'we have to go to Macy's!' I ask him why and he had gone online and found out they were having a massive sale on bed stuff. Yes!!! So off to RC Willey and we found a really nice GE washer and dryer set for $740. We can't afford the nice pricey front loaders right now, I'm perfectly happy with the top load washer. Plus it's GE and our kitchen is all GE profile. So they match =] We went to go look at some furniture next. One of Bobby's friend's uncle's (got it? haha) owns a furniture store so we went there to look for a dining set. He said he could get us one cheaper than what we were going to pay Ashley's. Found a couple we liked and they said they would get a price for us Tuesday. Off to Macy's and boy did they have a sale! 60% off of bedding! We got amazing king size 500 thread count egyption cotton sheets for $79.99. ahhhhhh they are SO soft! We also got some other really nice 680 thread count sheets for the same price. So we have 2 really nice sets of sheets and pillow cases. We also got a really soft nice down comforter for a killer price. Normally they were $480 but we got it on sale for $195.
Bobby left to do a demo practice at the school and I spent the rest of the day with my Mommy and sister. We went through the last of the stuff from my Grammie, and then just hung out for a while. It was a really nice day to spend with my family. I'm going to miss living so close to my mommy =[ She's my best friend, I talk to her every day, I miss seeing her even NOW and I'm 2 blocks away. Well that was it for the weekend. Spent too much money on stuff, but we needed it. Now all we have to worry about getting is a dining table and we will be pretty much set. For a while at least. After that we still need to get Ryan a bedroom set, an entertainment center for the living room and a BBQ. But for right now I think we will be okay for a few months until we can save some more money. Plus, I need to go wedding dress shopping still!!!

~Saturday of Memorial Day WeeKenD~

Saturday was nice and relaxing as well. We woke up, and I asked Ryan what he wanted for breakfast. His reply? "Macaroni cheeeeese!!" Surprised? nope. lol. Well, he got waples again (I was going to make scrambled eggs, then realized I have nothing to cook them in! Everything is packed!!). We got all ready and headed over to Ono's house (Bobby's dad) to swim again! We get there and I stick my foot in because he was bragging the night before how nice and warm his pool was. OMG!! Can you say FrEeZiNg?!?! My pool was a sauna compared to his pool!! I jumped out and screamed. Bobby walked outside and I informed him there was no way he was swimming today because it was wayyyyy colder than my pool had been the day before. He puts his foot in and agree's with me. Ryan gets in and goes 'it's not cold' shaking his head in the cute way he does. So again, it was up to me to swim with the little monster. ;-) Ryan imediately wants to show grandpa he knows how to swim so we show him and he laughs. He throws some floaties at me and we put them on his arms. He didn't like them but dealt with them. That's when the real fun began! He was swimming by himself I was just holding his sides because he kept screaming back at me, 'Hunnie! Don't let go!' A few times once we got closer to the steps I took my hand off his side and he didn't like that at all. So we continued to swim for a long while, me pretending to hold him and Ryan really was doing it all on his own. I pulled his butt up a few times, but other than that, it was all him. He will get it, it's just going to take a couple more tries before he realizes he can do it alone. Bella came with us and layed out in the shade the whole time. She's not dumb. haha. Ono starts the grill and made us some amazing cheeseburgers. After the afternoon with my future father-in-law and Sharon we headed home. Ryan was out in a matter of 3 minutes. The pool and sun do a number on him. He was exhausted. We get home and I shower and get ready. We had plans to go over to my best friend Pat's house for the fight. I get done getting ready and walk into the living room and find my boys, tuckerd out sound asleep. Too cute =]
The rest of the night we had a blast over at Pat's house. Justin and Stephanie were there and we had a really fun time. The fight was awesome, Rashad Evan's got his butt kicked! Which is what I was hoping would happen... He's a cocky jerk. I was really glad the other guy won. Around 10 we were exhausted and couldn't wait to get to bed and go to sleep! So we said our goodbye's and headed home. Wow what a full weekend so far and we were only half way through it!

Friday of Memorial Day Weekend

So this was a nice long weekend and it was much needed!!! Friday I was off of work so we went to meet Brandy by her work to pick up Ryan for the next couple of days. After we got home, we ate some waples (Ryan calls them waples it's so cute) and then headed off to Target to get some swiming suits for Bobby and Ryan. Theirs were at home and we didn't want to drive to Henderson to get them. Got Ryan cute Cars trunks and Bobby some so he could go in the water and play too. While we were there Ryan picked out a few books and Bobby tried to put a TV in the cart. Unfortunately for him, it didn't fit in the cart. Another day...

We had a nice relaxing day at the pool Friday. Ryan learned how to swim! At first he was hesitant to be face first in the water, but once he did it a couple of times he didn't want to stop! He was kicking his feet and doggy paddling his arms it was so cute. He kept wanting to go under the waterfall and then wanted to go to the deep end. Bobby had gotten out of the pool after a while because he was "cold" (baby), but the water was seriously like bath water. So that left me to take Ryan all over the pool. Now, I'm a short 5'2" and I can't reach very deep, so when Ryan kept wanting to go further out towards the 6' area I had to make him sad because I couldn't reach! lol. He did so well though, I was very proud he had come so far since last summer. We have been talking about swim classes and want to enroll him in the Boulder City Rec Center classes, but they are on setdays, and we have him on different days each week so I don't know how that would work out. We will have to see though. The child loves water, he's got to get some kind of classes. After the pool we drove to Boulder City for karate. I taught tigers which is always fun. Ryan slept forever. He was pooped from the pool!! He is so peaceful when he sleeps. We leave Boulder City for home, and Bobby gets a call from Ono saying 'Where are you? I'm standing in front of your school and there's no one here!' well classes had been over for 30 minutes... lol. He said he was coming to surprise us and take us to the BBQ festival they had going on that weekend. So we turn around and go back. We have a sleeping 3 year old, and Bella with us and I didn't have a leash because I didn't know we were going to need one. Ryan woke up when we got there and Bella was very good about staying next to Mommy and Daddy. I carried Ryan for the first half hour because he is very grumpy when he first wakes up and didn't want to walk. After he see's kids running and playing he asked to get down and went and played. We ate some really good BBQ pork and steak burrito's and a BBQ chicken squer (sp??). Ryan and Bella ran and played in the grass and I told Ryan to roll down the hill with the other kids. He laid down and realized there was bits of grass on him (they had just mowed the lawn) and stood up and said 'ew, hunnie you roll!' while picking the grass off of him. He cracks me up. Bella attempted to steal a lot of food and a few times was successful... ugh... She was in doggie heaven. Meat everywhere!! It was a nice night, not hot at all just very nice. Bobby was so sweet, stood in line forever just to get us drinks. All in all, it was a wonderful way to spend our Friday.

Me!

Well hopefully Lisa can show me a few things on this and how to get cute little stuff on here. I loved her idea of blogging about all the things that happen from day to day, weather it be small or big, and then printing all her posts for the month and putting them in a book. So I'm going to be a copy cat. Ha! Hopefully I can remember to write in here on a consistant basis... we shall see.
